Trained as an illustrator, work as a visual composer & teamed as a copywriter, Herbie Phoon is a co-director & the Head Of Creative at Dasein Academy Of Art, CUE Art Associates, & Grass Design; where he specializes in visual communication crafts & maintains the creative order from bureaucratic chaos.

Occasionally, he lectures on drudging subjects such as Design Entrepreneurship, Portfolio Design, & Copywriting. 

 

With one foot enganged in education & another foot jaywalking in the creative industry, Herbie has been offered collaborative projects that won him numerous international awards such as Cannes Lions Bronze, Kancil Awards Gold, The One Show Silver, Clio Awards Bronze, AdFest Silver, D&AD Inbook, Tokyo Type Directors Club etc.

 

Herbie is currently working on selected projects with Koey & The Caveman, and writing obscure stories and characters for his ongoing book projects.
